The majority weighted stocks are quite red. with less weight being green.
My calculations we should be atleat 0,70% red on the index. However we just moved -0.15 how does that work? I am getting crazy or… :)

WEAT has just taken out the uptrend line off the lows, so at this point, best to either wait for a little more downside to the 21.70ish/200-day SMA support and/or a recovery back above the uptrend line, IMO. Daily chart below.

Hopefully more than that will prove to be more than just lip service. In my opinion, this country is screwed, as the massive tidal wave & trend of legalizing gambling only seems to be growing, not ebbing. Where I live (FL), the TV commercials & billboards are flooded with gambling ads for the very large & common Indian tribe casinos, which are exempt from the state’s no-gambling laws. Add the rapidly growing prediction markets like Kalshi & Polymarket, where you can bet on just about any stupid thing such as who will wear a blue dress at the Oscars or how much rain the Sahara will get next week… oh yeah, I’ve been getting pounded with banner ads to entice me into prediction gambling on Interactive Brokers, like election outcomes, etc..

That’s Interactive Brokers, not Robinhood or MGM. All of Wall Street wants in on the action. My views obviously differ from some others, but one can’t argue the addictive & financial destruction (even emotionally, with many suicides & murders every year) that gambling causes. Sad what I see happening, especially as it is well documented that the younger generation is driving a large part of the growth in that industry, based on current trends & the fact that many young people think making bets with big payoff potential is the only way they are going to buy a home or get ahead.

Semis down , other sectors up, index stay up afloat.

the same reasoning applies to one day options. They may have been to available to too many investors that don’t understand them. Steps are being taken to rein them in as well.
