Good question. Quick answer: Today will help to confirm whether or not this is a good time to add to an IWM short. Basically, I want to see the select Mag 8’s that triggered the next sell signals I was looking for to remain on those sell signals by the close today. e.g.- GOOGL broke & closed below the primary uptrend line on Tue, followed by a backtest & close back on (but not above) the TL yesterday. As of now (10 am), it is trading slightly above that TL, but all that matters on the daily chart is how it closes. Ditto for the others: As long as the majority don’t “undo” any of their recent sell signals/breakdown levels by solidly moving back above them, then yes: IWM will offer an objective short entry or add-on IMO.
