The single most important pivot (bottom) over the past year+ was the morning of Aug 5th so you must have taken that day off (and the other 2 major lows) when I posted a clear call covering all shorts & going to a hard/full long positioning with plenty of reasons cited. While there have been plenty of other long entries posted, for the most part, that A

The trade setup for active traders. I trade professionally & am very much an active trader, often making a dozen or more trades per day, especially when volatility (price swings) are high, like they have been lately.

The primary focus of this site is swing trading (trades with holding periods measured in weeks to months) although I will often share setups for active traders (holding periods measured in hours or days). That setup was posted this morning in this post although I also made a point to speak to how a typical swing trader might view today's bounce:

Austan Goolsbee of the Fed came out this morning and did an interview with his favorite cheerleaders at around 9:55am this morning on CNBC with one single command from J. Powell … stop the drop! In five minutes he basically said inflation at 2% is better then done, there will be more then two rate cuts in 2025, rates will drop substantially and liquidity will be plentiful! Not one hint of caution! And to the minute the charts show it was like a cattle call to all those “trillions” of dollars sitting on the sidelines. …. Honestly, they rescued the Santa Claus rally …. Look for ATH’s by New Years after today’s mega short squeeze! The market manipulation is off the charts! … Don’t fight the Fed!

Would be nice to do a huge hard reversal today and close deep in the red but doesn’t look nor feel that way. If rally continues, bulls regain trend line then where do we go from here
