Depends on market conditions. During periods of high/extreme volatility, I might take a trade on something like /NQ that last under an hour or even minutes. With mid to moderate volatility like we've had for the last few weeks, as you can see from my recent posts, my /NQ active trades lasted anywhere from a day (the short I posted reversing into from long to short yesterday & just reversed today) to that previous long which had several scale-in entries & lasted about a week. There are days where I might make a dozen or more trades in just a signal security, like /NQ, in addition to that many or more in other securities I'm also trading at the time, especially if closely related like /VIX, /ZB, etc..

Please note: I don't post all and at times, only a tiny fraction of my active trades as it is impossible to follow, especially during fast moving markets, nor would I even have the time to get those out in a timely (actionable) manner. When things are slowish or the market is conducive to active trading, I will often post some of the short-term trading opps that I see for those interested. Those that do no have the experience & ability to active trade would probably be best to focus on typical swing (holding periods typically measured in weeks to a few months) and/or trend trading (4 months+).
