I think today is a good example of why we should no longer be looking to short the Nasdaq, but switch to shorting the Dow. Nasdaq is up 2.3% and has nearly erased all of the losses for the week. The Dow is only up 0.60% and has only erased 20% of the losses of the week.

Some food for thought on the "widow maker" natural gas.

long story short, keep trading the charts, but don't think that because natural gas in volatile, all you have to do is wait and you'll be bailed out of a bad trade.

Buying at the end or beginning of the year could get you trapped if you don't have your stops set.

In 2019, buying UNG at the beginning of the year and waiting to sell at break even would have taken 8 months

In 2012 It would have taken 7 months.

One more example. Buying at the beginning of 2010 would have had you underwater for alittle over 4 years if you waited to break even. At one point the position would be down 68% (not that anyone here would have bought because the was a divergent high in the chart)
