You know Randy, with all due respect for your analytical prowess, the ES and all other charts for that matter show a 45 degree angle YTD from lower left to upper right on the daily charts and the HULL MMA (Momentum Moving Average) hasn’t dipped negative not once, on the Daily!!! What makes you think a close just 20 points down from here will open the doors to a resumption of your Bear market? Aside from China forcing a blockade around Taiwan stopping all shipments of AI chips of course?

Gold still very much holding the recent breakout to new highs & while silver has quite a bit of catching up to do so over-weighting silver vs gold for swing/trend positions seems ideal. Looks to me that GLD might want to make one more thrust to marginally take out Friday's high & if so & anytime soon, that would be a divergent high on the 60m chart, most likely followed by a tradable pullback & quite possibly a backtest of the breakout.

Bottom line: While the current trend is bullish, the <abbr class='c2c-text-hover' title='Risk-to-Reward Ratio. e.g.- a 3:1 R/R would entail risking $1 of loss for every $3 of profit potential on the trade.'>R/R</abbr> just isn't nearly as good when I highlighted the metals & miners at the end of February so I'd be (and have been) more interested in harvesting profits from the recent rip than taking or adding to new positions, at least until we get a decent correction first.

Well that was quick (and why I call it 'active' trading). QQQ first target just hit for a quick (~30 trading minutes) gain of 0.9% where the odds for a <abbr class='c2c-text-hover' title='1) A bounce/pullback off support/resistance and/or a temporary consolidation around that level following a well-established trend leading up to that point. 2) A reaction low or high is a distinct point where the price of a security changed direction.'>reaction</abbr> are elevated before the next leg down. i.e.- very active traders can reverse (cover short & go long) to game a bounce & then back short for the next leg down.
