With home builder stocks in a massive rally and nearing all time highs, and equal-weight indexes coming closer to all time highs, and high-yield junk bonds getting comfortable above 200dayMAs, and SPY, QQQ, and IWM above their 200dayMAs as well, I'm finding that following bearish trade ideas is becoming less profitable and less worth the risk for the potential reward.

QQQ is certainly in a near-to-intermediate-term uptrend but still in an intermediate-to-longer-term downtrend by nearly all metrics. As such, only time will tell if the higher lows off starting with the Oct low will continue with higher highs & higher lows for some time to come.

All I can say other than that is the indexes, especially QQQ & the market-leading stocks, are at major resistance & we won't know until 'at least' until after this week (FOMC, ECB, AAPL, AMZN, GOOGL earnings, etc..) if they will be rejected at these keys resistance levels, as has been the case on previous rallies from below since the bear market started,...or if they will clearly put those levels in the rear view mirror from a solid & sustained break above on all.

Has QQQ and the stock market in general pivoted into a longer-term uptrend?
