Randy are you concerned about being possibly short the NQ going into the PPI instead of sitting on the side lines. This number could be soft and if it break the upper trend line wouldn’t a run to above 11744.50 be possible ?

8:45pm here on the West Coast … safe call Randy! I expect PPI to come in above expectations if not a little hot … might even get chatter of another possible .75 increase next week. For those of us who lived through the Jimmy Carter years – 21% prime interest rates, 13% 30 year mortgages, 14% CD’s, and long lines to buy fuel, this bout of inflation is far, very far, very very far from over! Last time Reagan grew us out of inflation by lowering taxes, pumping businesses with ITC’s (Google it) to incentivize business to retool and upgrade so jobs and supplies where plentiful! Reaganomics created close to 40,000,000 new jobs in today’s world! And it still took 10 years to get inflation under control! This time tax increases, job destruction and demand destruction is the roadmap to kill inflation!!! No society in history has ever taxed its way to prosperity! This one won’t either! It’s like picking up a bucket while standing in it! Make no mistake our economic policies are Made In China! Not just all that crap at Walmart. Sad
