Bottom line is the very fluid situation in the Middle East, particularly how it impacts crude prices, will likely continue to cause sharp & sudden swings in equities (and crude) with a short on crude, my preferred method to indirectly but (I think) effectively hedge my index shorts.

It’s also not an “aggressive” or “all in” short (or long, for that matter) momentum regarding equity positioning at this time, IMO, but could be soon if the recent lows are taken out. Also, watching those overhead resistance levels & the top of my expected bounce target zones to see if they contain the bounce off T2 on the daily chart of QQQ, as I still favor, but will adjust accordingly, if not.

Still keeping the short position on the lighter side for now after reducing exposure before the 3-day weekend, but did add some index shorts (/NQ & /RTY) back today, plus increased oil (/CL) shorts as an indirect hedge to the stock index shorts as posted earlier today, as well as today’s video: https://rightsideofthechart.com/stock-market-precious-metals-bitcoin-analysis-4-7-26/
