There's rarely a single hard "line in the sand" support level, more so a confluence of key supports on the major stock index ETFs & futures that come in roughly around the same levels. The more of those supports that are taken out, the more likely the next big wave of selling will come. Also, the longer the time frame those supports are broken on (with a candlestick close below on those time frames, e.g.- 60-min, 120-min, daily, weekly), the more likely those breakdowns will stick.

Thx for sharing. At least we will likely know soon whether on not there are enough buyers to step in & defend these key levels. My guess is the market either posts some solid gains or some big losses this week with a low chance of just grinding around sideways. Unfortunately, even the best support levels & strongest positive divergences often get sliced right thru during a bear market so staying nimble & not married to any bias is key.

On my charts, AAPL, AMZN, GOOG, MSFT have all hit and what appears to be bouncing off of trendlines. Your trendlines could be different but this supports your bear trap case.
