nice call. The set up was beautiful. I thought about participating until I found out that the options for this vehicle was too illiquid for me to participate. But this was a delicious short play. Thank you Randy. I am having so much fun in this Trading Room!

I think the more objective entry or re-entry on NKTR would be to wait for a bounce up to the 110 area before shorting or buying puts (which I'm not a big fan of right now with volatility premiums high) with a stop somewhat above. Even then I might pass if the charts don't confirm as I'm still near-term bullish on the market & if it does continue to rally, there's a good chance it will take the biotechs & NKTR with it. Best to hold off on this one for now IMO but if you do take it, especially with puts, don't put more $$ into it than you are willing to lose or at least minimize your downside with some type of paired options trade.

This is one I covered Friday.
Fwiw, NKTR has been called one of the four “Biotech Horsemen”.
Interesting to see how it goes from here…watching and waiting.
