S&P and Nasdaq are both up about 10% for the first quarter of the year. SOXX up over 17%
Dow ready to crack 40,000.
IWM (Russell 2000) hitting 2+year highs. Hasn’t been this high since January 2022.
For the second time in a year the market is up 5 months in a row.
Treasuries are stable, gold and bitcoin are soaring to new highs.
Use a dartboard…can’t lose.

JP ain’t gonna say anything bad and disturb the markets. Guaranteed he isn’t going to say anything new. The closer you get to the election, the less he will say and do.
And no matter what the economic numbers are, the market isn’t going down anytime soon. Even if they’re horrendous, that’s okay.
Everything is rainbows and unicorns for the time being.

So, today will be the last trading day of the quarter. Institutional money managers are motivated to keep stock prices propped up, in order to report stellar quarterly performance (and, of course, lock in stellar bonuses). They won’t stand in front of an onslaught of news related selling pressure. But, absent a major adverse headline, the path of least resistance for the today is higher. Keep in mind, though, Mr. Powell speaks on Friday. And, we get the PCE report. So, while the market is closed, we do have some potential catalysts that could cause some selling pressure early next week.
