/NG "behaving" extremely well to the technicals so far yesterday & today. Took out my 2.37 resistance/buy signal, spiked hard right into that next target/resistance at 2.422, pulled back (as expected, on the initial tag) & the pullback was perfectly contained at that 2.37 former resistance, now support level (thereby offering another objective long entry or place to close a short off yesterday's tag of 2.422) and bounced right back to that 2.422 resistance where it is trading right now (and next buy signal to come on a break above it).

However, I will be rolling to the Dec contract today so the price levels will change on the next charts I start posting later today.

In reply to aturchin.

Good observation & that could prove to be the case if that lower, BOD, TL gets validated with a 3rd distinct reaction (yesterday) & SPY holds or rallies off it.

As of now, I prefer the "fit" of the trendline I have on the daily chart above but again, should we get a 3rd confirming reaction with yesterday;s candle (or another one today) and rally off the TL, then I will revise it & make that new BOD TL the primary one. Thx for pointing that out.

For now, I am treating this as the reaction that I expected (as per this post) off the first minor support hit at yesterday's lows with SPY pretty much to the expected bounce level now & any backtest of the TL today or soon will also offer another objective short re-entry or new entry (until & unless the TL is regained).

randy, if you draw your benefit of the doubt trendline to include the 9/11 bottom as well, we tagged it and bouncing now. It might be a reaction, or still one more high in the wedge around election day. Just my thought.
