GLD just put in a divergent low (potentially bullish) as it reversed just shy of T3 on the 60m chart so that could be the technical catalyst for a decent rally in the coming days/weeks. However, based on the much larger scope of the negative divergence that proceeded it, I suspect GLD (and the miners with it) will probably make at least one more decent leg down before it goes on to new highs but again, that 60m divergence should be noted.
