Fun fact- In 1929, 20 oz gold at $20/oz bought the peak Dow at 400 pts.
Today, roughly 13.5 oz buys Dow 23,300.
Just to stay even with 20 oz today, Dow should be over 34 k, LMAO !! Yeah, buy stocks instead of real physical assets.

Agreed! Actually, when the Elephants decide to stop drinking the Fed cool aid and start seeing the Fed action for what it is ... pulling all stops in hopes of averting a complete collapse of Western civilization of their own doing! Honestly, we have not missed the Titanic sized iceberg yet by any stretch of the imagination! I personally think the Fed started a controlled burn that has become an out of control wildfire!

Looking at price + RSI patterns from 1 month ago and now, they look similar to me. Is there a reason to expect this positive divergence won't be another gap & go? I see volume has been steadily decreasing over the past month and a possible distribution pattern has been built. Those could be bad omens for future pricing, but what about over the next week or two?

Any Thinkorswim users who know what is comparable indicator to Randy's "whether the PPO signal line (9-<abbr class='c2c-text-hover' title='An exponential moving average (EMA) is a type of moving average that is similar to a simple moving average, except that more weight is given to the latest data.
