In reply to Mikeflegel. Unusual to see the 10-yr bond flat right now with the $NDX up over 2%. See the short video I just posted after this post: ALL major indexes except the top-weighted $NDX are at or just below key downtrend line resistance & as is the 10-yr Treasury. QQQ playing a game of chicken on today's rally, betting that the 10-yr will breakout but if it does, next week could be ugly for equities.

Who said markets don’t go up for ever! Still waiting on the 15380 max bounce to hit! With 100 minutes to go in the trading week the Bears are praying for a miracle! Currently 15,772! Shorts are bailing for the weekend! On the wrong side of the chart again! I’m sure Randy’s too busy flipping to longs to update the four of us left in this blog! … at least I’m done losing in options! There’s a silver lining :-(

I totally know how that feels, 2020 and 2021 was not very good to me because I believed it had to tank. It dont tank till it tank.

I have heard some say that the fed will be forced to add 25 basis to cool the market down. That would be great for the financials, tongue in cheek. Its a hot mess out there.

When there is shortage of OIL due to war, OIL Tanks.
When there is high chance of market collapse, SOY and QQQ Rallies.
When there is high inflation, Commodities Tanks.

In short just do the opposite of what we are supposed to do!

In reply to Imadaytr8r. Honestly speaking we retailers are DUMB! We knew the trend is up and yet we rely on indicators and divergences! Yesterday's Bearish Engulfing Candle was purely a BEAR TRAP. Technically we had a perfect retest of the falling trendline in NQ too!

Now 15,443 @ 12:10 EST! When does the 15,340 to 15,380 become support for the next leg up? I’ve taken off my stops waiting once again for the bounce to actually bounce! Maybe the Perma-Bull Tom Lee will prevail! … Either way I guess I’m committed to stay short over the weekend … hell, I waited 9 months for NatGas to turn and it never has, what’s two more days waiting for the Magnificent Seven to tank!

I also have resistance around 15340 on my 15-minute chart of /NQ which could serve as the end-point for the bounce off the backtest of the 60m downtrend line. Objective level for active traders to reverse from long to short IMO. 15m chart below.
