When the futures make a sharp move overnight it’s always best to wait to see what happens once the starters (institutional traders) do when they step onto the field at 9:30 am. So far, they bought up that dip very aggressively.

Not really. The $VIX is likely to stay relatively elevated for a while, even if the market rallies, simply because we are no longer in a bull market. What the $VIX is telling me, pretty clearly, is that I am most likely correct that the market hasn’t seen a bottom yet & that my next (T4) target on the QQQ weekly chart will likely be hit some time this year although I favor another bear market rally before the final leg down to that target (and completely ready to flip back from long to short if something convinces me that final leg is much closer)
