Bullish flags & pennants are effectively the same pattern although one takes the form of a downward sloping flag & the other a sideways triangular pennant. Both start with an impulsive move leading up to the formation of the flag or pennant (flagpole), with that period of consolidation that forms the flag or pennant followed by a breakout above the flag/pennant & another thrust higher similar in scope & intensity to the flagpole leading up to the pattern. Typo has been corrected in the post above.
