I wonder if NVDA is part of the cargo on that trip to the moon...lol. Wasn't aware of LUNR but will put it on my radar to watch for a potential trading opp. Could be a buy the rumor, sell the news trade but I'd have to do some DD to see what the fundamental story looks like on the company before assuming although that would be my guess just by looking at the chart. My reasoning is the stock was in a big downtrend until Jan & I think it is very safe to say they didn't just whip together plans for a trip to the moon in a few weeks. As such, the market would/should have been pricing this in for much longer than a month or so. Looks like another example of the bubble-like mania on speculative & over-priced AI stocks that has been sweeping the market lately.

Congrats if you took it AND booked profits (kiss of death to give kudos to a profitable trade before closed IMO). If so, the 'safe' play is to close out the short before the report tonight with the more aggressive option to sit tight & swing for the fences (which of course, risks striking out if the stock continues to run post-earnings).

Either way, there may still be another objective short entry after earnings & if so I will do my best to highlight it. Otherwise, it can go to the moon but it will have to do so without me, at least until/unless I see an objective long entry.

Hello Everyone, Have you seen the LUNR? They are sending some test equipment to the moon. Launch was successful and so far so good on its flight to the moon. It is scheduled to land this thursday at 5:49pm est.

The stock is up over 300% in the last month. The chart is getting parabolic and this could be a great example of buy the rumor and sell the news. I'm not taking a position, but will be following closely.

On the other side, the moon lander is carrying 6 loads of equipment for NASA under 118 million contract and 6 more loads for commercial customers with unknown value. If the lander is successful they could announce more contracts and the stock could, pun intended, go to the moon.

Or it could crash and burn and be a disaster. Should be an interesting few days for this stock.

Not sure if you caught it but I has posted taken a starting position in nat gas on Friday in the comment thread & the bullish case has definitely firmed up over the past couple of session: https://rightsideofthechart.com/swing-trade-ideas-stock-market-analysis-2-16-24/#comment-30859

UNG has taken out the downtrend line in pre-mkt today, so technically a buy signal there although it has also just hit my 2nd downtrend line target on /NG. Basically, with /NG at resistance, the next objective long entry or add-on will come on a solid break above this downtrend line on /NG (and I'll be rolling to the April contract soon, this is updated 60m chart of the March /NG contract that I posted on Friday in that link above)
