One last thing that I meant to add: Don't fall victim to the sensationalism that the media spews out in order to sell advertisements & subscriptions to keep the wheels turning. The latest being "Dow Drops More Than 1100 Points, Largest One Day Drop Ever!"

The Dow Jones Industrials dropped 4.6% yesterday. As most of you know, I am a big proponent of using log scaling vs. linear (aka- arithmetic) scaling on my charts. The reason for that is because it renders all candles on the chart in proportion to their percentage gains or losses instead of their total point gain or losses. We all know that over time, the stock market goes up. A 1000 point move when the DJIA was 10,000 would have equated to a 10% gain or loss while a 1000 point move if/when the Dow hits 30,000 will only be a run of the mill 3.3% move.
