I don’t think pullbacks greater than 2% are necessary in a bear market rally. Just look at the final stages of the strong bear market rally into the Aug 16, 2022 high. That rally ended with a nearly identical sharp surge similar to what SPY did over the past week & once it was over, SPY fell as hard or harder than it rose from there into the mid-Oct lows.

I had cut & pasted the symbol tags (tickers) that I covered in the previous video as I covered most of those in this one but might have missed UNG in this one (see previous video). Basically, UNG hit resistance/T1 the other day with negative divergences on the 60-minute chart of /NG (futures) which lead to some profit taking but the case for a significant bottom based on the daily charts still looks pretty good IMO.

If this was a bear market rally, shouldn’t we see 2% or greater on SPY when it pulls back? For the past 5 months we are barely seeing any pullbacks that are larger than 1%.
