I hope you guys caught that move in $KL if anyone trading miners. I remember talking about it with Randy in comments section. Bought at ~$36 support, took some profits on spikes, then cycled back in at $38 on strength, wrote a couple of short calls dating October. It's up 22% since 6/15 in less than 1 month, my position is up 14% since last entry and that's very much my max profit given that I had sold call options, but still a decent gain if it holds.

Thanks man. Sorry I missed that mention and went on wasting your time. I watched the vid in background and after replaying it, it turns out you mention all of this in the very beginning. All good and thanks again. All the best.

In reply to <a href="https://rightsideofthechart.com/market-analysis-trade-ideas-7-7-20/#comment-19147">Araleia</a>.

Agreed. Been looking at the semis today & starting to jolt some short setups in the sector down on my scratchpad. XLK (tech) and the <abbr class='c2c-text-hover' title='An acronym for the 5 largest components of the Nasdaq 100 index: FB, APPL, AMZN, MSFT & GOOG(L)which collectively account for nearly 1/2 of the returns of that leading index.'>FAAMG</abbr> stocks are getting VERY heavy & QQQ is starting to move below the minor <abbr class='c2c-text-hover' title='An uptrend occurs when a security or index is making a series of higher highs & higher lows.'>uptrend</abbr> line on the 60m chart posted yesterday. If/when tech, QQQ, & the FAAMGs finally break, the algos are likely to flip the switch from BUY to SELL with nearly everything falling along with the FAAMGs.
Financials still weak but sitting on the 23ish support so as far as the S&P 500 sectors go, XLK, (tech), XLC (communications), & XLY (discretionary) appear likely to outperform to the downside once the next correction starts to get some traction. I'm not putting in full days recently due to the fact trading around the 4th is usually pretty whippy due to the low volume but I do plan to post some short trade ideas soon as well as updates on gold, silver, & the ag commodities along with those ag input trade ideas recently highlighted (SEED has been ripping since breaking above that bull flag on the daily, up another 13% today & coming up on the next target around 10.80).

I did the state that GEVO ran into & was checked by gap resistance/top of gap today and also went on to mention some objective entry points starting around the 24:07 mark. https://youtu.be/4VrvmZ9ND0Q?t=1447

I do my best to mention what levels, whether a pullback to support or a breakout above resistance, will offer objective entries on trade ideas but if I fail to mention or you want an update, just let me know & I'll be glad to revisit the charts of any particular trade idea.

So buying here is Vegas with blackjack & hookers. So the good entry would be on a pullback. But then indicators on daily are all down and there is nothing beneath anyway, not much support per se, so where do we enter this, huh? At ~0.62 or ~0.47? Either way, thanks for your video I was worried that trolls made you salty or god forbid COVID-19 got you, or perhaps a July 4 hangover. Take care, love the vid.

Update: GEVO is back down to 0.62, so maybe a good entry (looks like a pullback)
