The data shows excess deaths in the period I.e excessive to flue and colds etc. In the U.K. that is 42,000 people who died from Coronavirus or related illness such as pneumonia. Afraid if you saw actual friends and family dying from this horrendous virus you might be a bit more gracious in your comments.

The data you have given to me says otherwise. 66% deaths come from COVID-19 vs. Influenza/pneumonia. Also the dataset runs 3 weeks back so I can't really estimate the annual death rate based on 3 weeks of data. Besides the point, you haven't answered my questions so I assume you are not interested in constructive dialog. I can't be reading walls of text like this. Thank you for sharing.

No, there's 11,000 bodies; but in a typical 2 month winter period, there's ~600,000 bodies that pile up from virus related deaths.
In reply to <a href="https://rightsideofthechart.com/market-analysis-trade-ideas-5-5-20/#comment-17388">becky</a>.

Look at the headings at the top of each column. The headings describe what is below. So, ~11,000 people died from Covid during approximately a 2 month period. The last column shows the % of expected deaths. In other words, the TOTAL number of deaths from flu, corona, & pneumonia COMBINED are SMALLER than a typical year. So, even without corona, the CDC would have expected an additional 10% to have died from some kind of virus. If the madness that the media was peddling was true, "% of expected deaths" would be well over 100%........more like 400% or 10 million % depending on which media outlet. The OFFICIAL NUMBERS have showed that FEWER people died from ALL these illnesses COMBINED (including Covid-19) than would be expected in a normal year. LOL!

The corona numbers are likely inflated, too, as many states were counting people dying WITH Covid-19 as people dying FROM Covid-19. Plus, the fraud is starting to be exposed. This setup by the PRESIDENT of Tanzania was classic! They switched the samples being tested. They put in fruit and goat samples and gave them human names. Yet, they came as POSITIVE from corona. How could that be? Again, this is the PRESIDENT calling out fruit being counted as a positive Covid test, not someone living in their mom's basement!

The damage to economies is entirely from self-inflicted shutdowns, not because of people dropping dead. After all, there are usually MORE people dying from viruses than this year.

1) You are comparing death from one or two months of CoVid with 12 months of flu
2) We don't social distance for the flu. If we hadn't for covid the infection and death would be even higher
3) This is a new virus so no one has immumity. Current estimate is that .5% - 1% of the infected die and 10% need hospitalization. Assuming only .5% die, eventually everyone in the country will be exposed if we stop social distancing. That would mean 325,000,000 people x .5% = 1.625 million deaths in the US alone. Double that for 1% death rate

Wow, ask the doctors and nurses of NY if this is just another flu. This is why I'm bearish. We are opening up and every state that opens to fast will end up like NY in about a month. NY only got it under control with extreme lockdown and social distancing. Take that away and the shit hits the fan. Hospitals will start to overload. It is really sad.

Apparently you're not aware that the broad market is currently trading exactly where it was on April 17th, nearly 3 weeks ago as well as where it was trading exactly 1 week ago today.
What I was trying to convey in the video is that ideally, for the bearish/short case on the broad market (SPX), the index ETFs & futures should turn down at the resistance levels there were (and still are) trading at during the video. I also wanted to share that the individual stock trades still look fine as of now although short trades will most likely face a headwind if the broad market rallies much above this 3-week trading range that it's been in.

Can you please explain the difference between the two columns mentioned in the document you have attached?

1. COVID-19 Deaths
2. Deaths with Pneumonia, Influenza, or COVID

If I get it right it's COVID vs. an aggregate of all of them incl. Influenza and pneumonia.

So 4/11 stats gives us COVID (3,542) vs Aggregate (5,305). So the math goes as following: 5,305 - 3,542 = 1,763. So 66% deaths are from COVID and 36% of deaths are from pneumonia and influenza. How's COVID less deadly I don't get it?

There seem to be a gap earlier this year and missing stats but that's understandable as we haven't started testing for COVID until very recently.

The "risk" is all coming from the media and deep state. Official statistics show that 5 times as many people have died from the flu and pneumonia than from Covid-19. If the media never reported a word, everyone would have just thought this was a slightly worse than normal flu season. Fear, terror, gloom, and doom. Operation Mockingbird.

@rsotc: From the video ramblings it looks like Randy too is ready to throw in the towel. This must be the most objective level to short now. If it doesn't hold then atleast your loss will be bare minimum unlike for some who have been short for about a week or two. :) GLTA.
