If we all would have taken Randy’s long-term 20monthly MA approach, to determine Bull or Bear Market, then we’d all have been long QQQ since May 10th and up over 7% since then. It’s difficult to understand why any of us, including Randy, are shorting the QQQ after his most conservative of indicators has flashed BULL MARKET!

Everybody makes a wrong call.. Or number of wrong calls.. The difference between a seasoned practitioner and a talking head is acknowledging which calls were wrong, cutting your losses and playing defense till the market shows it’s next move.. not sticking to the wrong calls incessantly over months and acting like his subscribers are wrong to doubt staying short the QQQs/ semis. If there is a number one worst habit/ approach in trading, it is precisely this imo.

One the biggest mistake I think Randy made was making a call on shorting the strongest sector like QQQs and Semis. I asked him several times why we are shorting QQQs or semis instead of Russell but no answer.

If you think properly, shorting Russell makes more sense than shorting QQQs/Semis bcoz in the high interest rate environment Russell gets affected more than large mega caps simply bcoz they have very little debt and ton of free cash. I don’t know how Randy missed this call. Its crazy!

Real account? He has never shown a single real trade he has taken. It’s ok..I went through the same thing years ago.. Most of these trading gurus are the same.. Make their real money of subscribers.. I didn’t intend to continue this subscription last year but it auto renewed..I then sent an email to Randy/ rsotc support way back in Feb to cancel subscription.. If it auto renews again this year I will use that email to dispute the transaction.

Am sorry for your losses btw. It almost feels like the market will never turn until you exit your positions.. I know that feeling all too well. Most of us have been here.. We made mistakes in our position sizes, risk assessments but also our mistake was to put too much faith in a talking head.. Don’t be hard on yourself. Ray Dalio himself filed for bankruptcy before he became this big.. So did druckenmiller ( who went long semis – NVDA and MSFT in March).. I won’t be so harsh on him but one once told, don’t trust anyone if that person is not showing his real account. I could have listen to that advice!

looks likek soxs has another -20% day coming… and that’s with NVDA flat. unreal.

I’m beginning to think randy got fired from his previous jobs as investment advisor. How wrong can one be?
