So, do you ever place a sell order at your targets, or do you just keep moving your stops higher? I don't know which to pick :(

Even when you click on the video image in this post while logged onto RSOTC.com? Must be a glitch on your end. On the video in this post, try clicking on the "YouTube" (watch on YouTube) name/link at the bottom of the video. If it doesn't play on YouTube either, I would reboot your PC & try again.

In reply to Reddington.

How I managed my stops can be quite complex & is almost always fluid. On the May 12th reversal when I first posted covering all shorts first thing in the morning & later that morning/day, mentioned that I started accumulating longs, I stated in what I believe was the final video for the day that I would leave town with staggered (layered) stops in place on my /NQ & /RTY index longs.

I also mentioned in one of the comment sections under one of more of the posts I made while on vacation that I had been raising those stops to assure a profit. After QQQ hit T2 there was negative divergence building on the /NQ & /ES 60-min charts (also mentioned in one of those comments) and that was the technical catalyst that took the market down (as well as running into the QQQ T2 resistance).

I was stopped out of all my index longs on that reversal off QQQ T2 but re-entered back long when I saw the impulsive recovery back above the previous double-bottom lows on the 60-minute charts of /NQ & /ES.

Same thing, running staggered stops & will periodically raise them if the market continues to climb. Everyone has different loss allowances & comfort levels. Quite often, such in a volatile market like we've been in lately, I'll widen or even remove my stops, depending on how confident I am that the trade will pan out although I always make sure to have stops in place on any futures when I shut down at night because of the risk of a very big move from an unexpected news event or any other cause.

Randy, I need help with targets and money management. The reason I ask is on May 12 I bought the QQQ low, it went up and hit T1, but I didn’t sell, and then I got stopped out last week. How do you manage your exits? Thanks.
