I'm afraid if we hear any positive news about debt ceiling, market will explode.
Market knows how to punish when you go against the trend again and again!

Market is barely moving.
When market rallies, it make moves 2% to 3%
When market tanks, it make moves 0.2% to 0.3%

From next year onwards, I am going to listen to Jim Cramer!

Wow! I should have re-watched those Spring 2020 videos before I re-subscribed. It's as if sometimes he almost wants us to have fear about the market, instead of being invested in wealth-generating, long-term trends. And by sparking that fear, and getting us out of the idea of long-term investing, he creates loyal followers who are afraid to approach the markets without his direction.
I guess I've always known this about Randy, but I've felt some kind of addiction to his perma-bearish analysis. I think all of us have some strange addiction to gloom and doom. Fear sells.

I’m afraid that sometimes it really is that simple. We’ve had “most hated” rallies before, but this one really takes the cake. There’s good reason for the saying “The market climbs a Wall-of-Worry, and falls down a Slope-of-Hope.” Perhaps it really is that simple, and has always been that simple. I don’t hear a lot of celebration for higher highs in the market. In fact I hear the opposite. I hear people absolutely disgusted that NVDA should be nearly back to new highs. That the mega-caps are rallying while the rest of the market languishes. That no one’s paying attention to “valuation.” What I don’t hear are friends and strangers on the street talking about meme stocks, or crypto, or YOLO call-buying. The general public got scared out last year and are back to working 9-5 jobs, while the few of us that are privileged enough to have a bit of money to trade with, are arguing about how ridiculous this rally is, and are missing out of being long one of the greatest “bear-market rallies” of all time.

With the mentality "market has to do this" Randy believes we are still in the Bear market which still may be but the question remains... What if SPY and QQQ rallies 20% from here and tanks 70%. Swing traders like us will be squeezed to the last drop of blood by then lol!

This is an rsotc video from April 2020.. sound familiar? Not to beat a dead horse.. but we know where the market went from there.

My $0.02- tread carefully

https://youtu.be/uVbDQFKcXXI

For those of you who want to know how I am currently positioned - I am presently neutral and do expect at least a pullback in the NQ, when it comes the price action will indicate it. We haven't seen anything yet to indicate that pullback in the NQ has started. Also be open to the possibility that the bear market ended in October 2022. The DAX made a new all time high last week, the Nikkei also closed above it's 2021 high.. Just fyi - My trading duration is usually days to weeks.. (not monthly/ quarterly/ yearly durations .. that's for my 401k)

"It's not what you don't know that gets you hurt.. It's what you're so sure of, that just ain't so" - Mark Twain.
