@rstoc Hey Randy, why do divergences work so well? It’s no secret how to find them. Why aren’t more market participants using them and thus decreasing their effectiveness?

Hey traders. Tesla announced a recall because self driving software issues. That news hit the market later in the day, but before that, on the 1-minute chart there was a clear divergent high. Shorting around 11:04am would have returned about 7% today. A put option expiring tomorrow would have returned about 350% by the close.

As long as the dollar keeps going up, gold, silver, palladium, wheat, or any commodity is going to have a tough time. Am I wrong ?
