I do watch palladium as well as platinum but my convictions aren't high enough to take a position lately. PALL has pulled back to the 200-day SMA & 91ish support following the recent divergent low but has fallen back into the trading range/basing pattern (purple box on the daily chart below).

As such, one could make a case to go long here with either a tight stop below (90ish & 200dma support), especially if the PPO crosses back down below the zero line. I'm just watching for now but feel free to bump me again later if you want another update.

Are you referring to the market-top range box on QQQ? I have the top at 511.74 which is where it has been since I first posted it back on June 26th. It was a range for my projection of where QQQ would top before it even got there so even the early July peak/reaction high hadn't happened yet.
Randy,

Why does your market top box go all the way up to $513? I don't see any reason as to why the top of your market range would go up to $513 as that was not a previous price reaction. Previous ATH was $504. Although perhaps the top of the box could be moved to about $498/$500 at which point it will capture more tags of resistance & rejections.

PGJ still above & currently backtesting the primary downtrend line after reversing a hair shy of T1 so as long as it doesn't fall much below it (and the 25.80 price support just below), it still looks okay. Not great but okay. Also, note the PPO starting to turn up just above the zero line & poised to make (but hasn't yet, a bullish crossover).

Yes, pretty much market-neutral (long/short equities plus T-bond indirect hedge to shorts) if you net everything out & also continuing to keep things light as we close out the week. Certainly can't rule out a blow-off top, especially if the $NDX can SOLIDLY break & run above the July highs. Lots of noise this last week (from big tech earnings) and this week (election + FOMC rate cut) so best to see if the Trump Pump gets faded or built upon next week.

Price action this week bullish but again, needs to be taken with a grain of salt as knee-jerk reactions to big fundamental events such as these are often fleeting and/or reversed. Often..but not always.

On a related note, it seems like the dems. Just give the election away. That's what they do when the huge problem has developed, and they want to stick the republicans with it. Could that be the financial reset. Otherwise known as the total financial collapse date that we've been looking for since about the nineteen seventy five range. Bye bye don't hello biden bucks.

I first joined about starting with 2022, and you were quite adamant about a pullback. You were right about twenty twenty two. What is different now than 2022, stepped aside. Why isn't this a golden opportunity to short? You say you're going home neutral sounds like.
