Wow… can’t imagine 7+ months of feeling like I did during my peak weeks. Dr. put me on antibiotics for the cough (bronchitis) almost a week ago & I’ve seen a notable decrease in all my symptoms since. One of the big takeaways from that study is the impact that long COVID will have on the global economy until/unless a prevention/cure is found. I can definitely say that if I didn’t/couldn’t work from home, I would have been missing work for the past two months now.

Good point but quite different technicals on the two. QQQ & /NQ have clear positive divergences on the 60-minute charts & both are also backtesting the top of those Sept-Oct trading ranges, which was/is a pretty significant support level.
SOXX does not have comparable support here nor does it have positive divergence on the 60-min chart, not even close. Semis are certainly a key sub-sector of the tech sector & often considered a canary in the coal mine for tech but all they just don’t have the same impact on the index as the big FAAMG stocks.
BTW- I will point out potentially bullish & bearish developments, such as the support & divergences on the Q’s but that doesn’t mean that QQQ is “bullish” right now. The near-term trend for the past 10-day is clearly bearish with QQQ moving lower since the Oct 12th high. A case can be made to go long the Q’s here at support with a stop somewhat above and/or on a breakdown above the near-term downtrend lines on /NQ & QQQ. One could even hedge their bets with a short on SOXX & long on QQQ –or– short QQQ if/when the support and/or divergences are taken out.

Thanks for sharing. Fortunately, I currently don’t nor ever did have acute respiratory distress, or really any respiratory distress other than an on & off cough from bronchitis.
