The market this morning does not appears to be impulsive enough to drop -5% or more. Perhaps, wait a few days to enter short position. What do you guys think?

I have decided I’ll go for gold membership for a month at least to try it. Currently have silver. Do I get charged for 79$ or just the difference between gold and silver?

I know the feeling you have. Usually scared of taking into the weekend is that my positions were to big or high leverage. I learned hard way not to try to win back your losses.. SL = SL

By any chance there is a one day tryout for gold section? For me it’s still quite a bit of cash, as I am still playing with the small money. Need some good trade to break Even :)

I am not sure if I’m ready for that and if it provides me though benefits.

much appreciated. I added to a losing trade today to lower CB and am afraid to hold into weekend but also not wanting to take 4% loss and walk away…. any sway one way or another? I see a trendline from aug 2020 jan 2021 highs that hits todays high… and maybe diverg on rsi but not sure if R/WSB is going to smoke the sucker into overbought.

If today’s sell signal on QQQ sticks & we get considerable more downside next week, then chances are the US Dollar will rally up to my next target(s) & if so, that “should” put pressure on gold & silver. I put “should” in quotes as sometimes you get a flight-to-safety bid on gold when the stock market corrects & silver tends to follow gold. However, during a strong correction, silver is likely to underperform gold as it doesn’t have as much of a flight-to-safety component. Personally, I’m standing aside from the gold/silver trade for the time being although I’ll make a point to post an update early next week.

QQQ closed below the trendline, keeping the sell signal intact. Would have increased the odds of today’s sell signal sticking (i.e.- not ending up to be a whipsaw/false signal with QQQ moving back above the TL next week) if we closed well below today’s lows without that late-session bounce but the bounce didn’t take QQQ back above the TL so the sell signal remains intact.

Yep. I have the same bearish rising wedge on the XBI daily. Look ripe for a breakdown along with an increasing number of sectors but closed the week right on the bottom of the wedge (trendline support).
