Not exactly sure what you mean but adding shorts today before the close AFTER the falling wedge breakouts had clearly failed would have been objective IMO & the stock futures are still trading around those levels so really not to late. Just keep in mind the FOMC meeting is next week so the market might want to hover around the 200-day MA's until they hear Powell speak after the 2pm announcement. Personally, I'd rather sit tight on shorts now & watch those position bounce up & down until then then be flat & miss out on any potential surprises as I think any big surprises are more likely to be to the downside vs. the upside. JMHO

Great observations on the Fibs, thx for sharing. It's late here & I'm just catching up on comments & saw yours above & even highlighted that exact thing in the video earlier this evening (key Fibs lining up with price support/targets). Should the recent highs in the market prove to be a significant top (which continues to look more & more likely), then those key Fib retracement levels off the Covid low are likely to come into play. Thx again.

Fib levels seem to be working perfectly in all this chop. QQQ bounce and SPY bounce are all being contained at the 23.6% retracement level. For the QQQ, you need to use the high candle of Dec 28. Randy, I agree, this is all a fake out as its all going lower. I have also noticed that using the 2020 Covid lows and running the fib levels, they line up nicely with levels you have previously given us. For IWM, the bottom of the range lines up exactly with the 23.6 retracement (205) which was your T1 target from months ago. Nice work!

Yep. That was one of my targets from a couple of months ago. Buyers almost always step in on the initial pullback to the 200-day EMA and/or 200-day SMA so at least a short-term bounce likely. However, I suspect those levels will be taken out soon but as both the 200-day simple & exponential come in together at the same level, which happens to concide with yesterday's low on QQQ, the story remains the same: Next sell signal/objective short entry or add-on to come on a solid break below the recent lows.
