I missed getting into this trade yesterday, so just got in got pre-market at 122. Was watching the tape (T&S), liquidity was low, so actually saw my 100 shares filled. Then saw another order go through for 400,000+ shares! It was red on the screen, like mine. What does red versus green mean? How do you read this tape? Lots of red means selling, and green means buying?

I’m in the trade and the Fed is a concern. The Fed can now buy up to 20% of the assets of the exchange-traded fund LQD. The ability to have fair market price discovery is now further Diminished.

In reply to stockninja. I believe Randy addressed this last week and said there isn't any leveraged product. I've been using Puts as well and using the monthlys bc the weeklys have no volume on them

Hello community, by chance what would be a leveraged symbol to short LQD. I currently use options to short but wondering if there’s leveraged 2x or 3x etf’s that does the same?

I’m confused about the feds announcement… they said they were going to buy bond etfs.
But I don’t know if that has started yet, if that includes LQD, or how it works.

Is the fed going to be propping this up?

@rsotc I reentered this trade with you. (I'd been in the last one, too, as I think this is a big part of the economic story right now.) Anyway, one question: does the fact that the FED announced on Monday that they're buying everything, including corporate bonds, concern you about trading this short seeing as how the FED is, in essence, back-stopping the slide here?

@rsotc what are your thoughts on the Fed's unlimited QE to buy investment grade bonds through ETFs? Won't this mean the fed can directly jump in and buy LQD at any time, keeping the price up? Won't this change the fundamentals a lot? Or has TA also priced this in?
