What do the wide spreads I’m seeing for LQD in after-hours mean (bid 124, ask 132.25)?

ProShares offers the Short Investment Grade Corporate Bond inverse ETF, IGS. This fund aims to return the opposite (-1X) of the Markit iBoxx USD Liquid Investment Grade Index on a daily basis. It can be thought of as the inverse of the LQD since they track the same benchmark.

I do think that the upside potential in TLT is relatively limited compared to the downside risk at this time based on the fact that yields on the 10-yr & long bond (30-yr) are rapidly approaching the floor (zero). I also suspect that we could get a sell-off in Treasuries as the market beings to price in the impact of a falling US Dollar as the major top (end of the bull market) that was being priced into the charts for quite some time now has most likely begun (I’ll update the $USD & Euro soon).
However, I don’t see any sell signals on TLT at this time although close (/ZB testing the uptrend line off the 3/5 lows on the 60m chart) so it would be a bit of a pot-shot trade until we get some decent signs of a reversal.
I’m partial to TBT over TMV as the 2x leverage factor is more favorable to the decay vs. the 3x TMV, plus, I believe that TBT is a little more liquid.

I wasn’t able to find an inverse ETF that directly shorts investment grade bonds but welcome feedback from anyone else that is aware of one. SJB is the inverse ETF for junk bonds & that one may have some more room to run & I’m eyeing as a potential official trade idea but for now, I’d prefer to get in front of LQD (pre-breakdown) as I suspect it could start/continue to fall sharply this week or next.

That is a junk bond inverse etf, and as Randy said the junk bonds have already left the station, so there’s more downside to the lqd.

Any inverse etf to use vs shorting the LQD?
