ETSY hit my first price target (<abbr class='c2c-text-hover' title='First Profit Target'>T1</abbr>) recently & I was waiting to see a solid breakout above that significant resistance level. However, the stock had put in a divergent high around T1 recently & although it was coming off a much bigger divergent low (at the April lows), Trump put a knife through ETSY's heart by eliminating the 'de minimus" provision, which was a huge benefit for companies selling a lot of low-priced items being shipped from outside the US, such as Temu & Etsy.

Not sure what the ultimate fallout will be for ETSY but the market has been pricing that in. You can read about that here:

Holy Smokes. I finally put the time into understanding how futures work and made my first trade. I understand now why Randy prefers to trade futures rather than ETFs.

For people with smaller accounts, there is no PDT (pattern day trader) rule so you can make as many round trips in a day as you'd like. I wish I knew that 5/6 years ago.

Knowledge is power.

It has taken a sever dive this week. Don’t want to catch a falling knife. It may turn around soon. I am keeping an eye on it. It seems that the deminimus tax may have been overblown since most sellers are in the USA but I gather that many sellers buy their raw materials from abroad. It is iffie but please chart this is you have a chance .

I took that trade after hours yesterday and sold it for a quick $17.50/share profit (393- 410.50) in about 45 minutes. Unfortunately, as you saw it exploded today and now it is at 440. I will give you credit for the trade anyway, as it was your 393 support level I had on my chart and just happened to look at a CRWD chart which CNBC was going over its earning and I saw it hit that support level and jumped on it.

I noticed they were running late last week & passed on mentioning (or taking them) as it appears that train has already left the station.

They point to what stage this rally is at (latter/tail-end) as it's a full-blown dash-for-trash on low-price meme stocks & speculative stocks with questionable (or outright lousy) fundamentals.

The pot stocks could certainly continue to run, just not my style to chase them at this point.
