I plan to in the next video (later today or tmrw) but essentially, gold has gone absolutely nowhere for months now, still locked within that sideways trading range since peaking back in April. Until it makes a solid break above or below that range, silver & GDX are likely to grind around with it. I still favor an ultimate downside resolution/correction or bear market in the metals & miners but again, that’s only going to happen if gold clearly breaks down below the trading range. Again, I’ll make a point to cover all 3 (GLD, SLV, & GDX along with the $USD) asap.

My best read on NEE is on the weekly chart. As such, those developments will take longer to play out than the daily chart, but here are my thoughts: Bullish if NEE breaks above this symmetrical triangle pattern, bearish if below it (and then the 64ish support). FWIW, I think the latter (bearish) scenario is more likely based on the current technicals, but best to respect whichever way that triangle breaks.

Here are my daily & weekly charts of MO. MO is very overbought while testing the top of the channel with negative divergences. At minimum, a pullback to the bottom of the channel is likely, possibly more in the coming weeks to months

VAL recently broke below & backtested the uptrend line off the April lows, following a divergent high at resistance & is currently testing minor support around 45 with the intersecting 200-day SMA & EMA plus the 41ish price support levels just below

I don’t have a strong opinion on where CNQ goes from here but here’s my daily chart with some support & resistance levels. Following the rally into & rejection off the downtrend line & subsequent breakdown below this uptrend line, CNQ has pulled back to the middle of this support zone. As such, a case could be made for an objective long entry here and/or down to the bottom of the support zone with a stop somewhat below it. VLA & MO to follow.

Also NEE – NextEra Energy if it is not too much

I wish I could help, but I do not have a good read on where OPEN is headed in the near term. I already had the chart annotated with key levels (see below), so all I can say is that the stock is smack between the 4.90ish key resistance level & the 2.43ish support with a steep but fairly well-defined uptrend line just below it, which would trigger a sell signal if taken out.

While a solid & sustained breakout above the 4.90-5ish resistance level would be bullish, OPEN is one of the recent meme stocks that, as long as the music keeps playing, will have the retail traders chasing it but once the music stops on this recent dash-for-trash trade, the bottom will most likely fall out of the stock.

As such, I’d be waiting for that sell signal rather than trying to chase it on any breakout above 4.90-5, but right now, I don’t have a good enough read on the stock to take a position at this time.
