I see your point. Fundamentals, however, are the reason i chose to go with the major banks. I believe that the precious metals suppression game they have been playing for more than 100 years may be nearing it’s end. Physical gold and silver are becoming very hard to get your hands on.

KBE looks like a nice short too but I technicals aside (both charts look good for shorting), fundamentally, I think we’ll see Part II of the regional banking crisis in 2025. I periodically check the FDIC’s Failed Bank list & expect to see an uptick in regional bank failures in 2025 although I’m unsure as to what extent they are still being backstopped by the FED plus, Trump will throw a hissy-fit when the stock market starts to fall so anything is on the table as far as gov’t intervention (again) goes to try and prevent the inevitable failure of so many regional banks that are knee-deep in underwater CRE loans.
