What could bring the stock market down? Tarrifs on hold, Fed pretty predictable, AI sector fairly under control…….can anyone give me insights if you have some? Sitting on sidelines right now.

In reply to Dkpdkp. Sure. Here's my daily chart of GLD with support levels (no resistance on a security at all-time highs). Note the 3 uptrend lines so basically, a solid break below that upper most TL would likely trigger a correction. Also. included daily chart of GDX below, which hit my 2nd & final price target last week. I added a new resistance level to that chart about where GDX is trading now & the annotations on that chart show why. Bottom line, the R/R is no longer favorable to go long GDX IMO & for those that are holding out for additional gains beyond T2, at least consider raising stops, ideally tactically on breaks of those nearby uptrend lines on GLD & GDX.
