Any comment on the IWM price action – Gapped up to a 146 high through resistance to close at 144.71 on the 60 min and sticking through extended hours. I guess that 144-45 resistance may now be support and remains to be seen on the follow-through today.

Thanks for pointing that out. I haven’t been able to catch up on many of the comments lately & often skip over those from @bransth due to the negative & often false statements but I did just take a look & see that @bransth has been posting quite a few penny stocks. Penny stocks are ripe with pump & dump attempts as it takes very little volume to move the stock. It is common for someone to take a position in a penny stock & then tout it online, taking profits as soon as the buyers run the price up & just before it crashed back down once the buying dries back up, often trapping the bag holders as the spreads widen once the volume dries up.
I’ve never had an issue with members posting penny stocks before so I have to add that to the Terms & Conditions (prohibiting it) and I will contact @bransth on the issue. Last thing I want to do is play censor to the comments on the site as I welcome all opinions & views on the market, but penny stocks should not be promoted here, especially frequently from any one person.

There are some screeners that do that, such as this one, but I don’t use any of them. Rather I spend most of my day rifling through dozens or hundreds of charts while looking for bullish or bearish developments on various time frames. Often, I will use a top-down approach: Finding a sector that is setting up as or currently bullish or bearish & then drilling down into the charts of the components of that sector, looking for the best setups.

Here’s a 60-minute chart of TZA with (unadjusted) price targets. I’ll try to follow up with a daily chart of TZA to see if I can align the targets on the IWM official trade with the TZA daily chart.

Hi Randy, how do you find tickers with DH formations. Is there any stock screener that you use? and are there any other criteria you use to find good trades.
As, I tried a few like high to low of MACD and such but gave me mixed results.
