I will often use market orders on futures, especially during regular trading hours, as the liquidity is good &amp; the spreads are usually as tight as they can be. However, whether I use a market or limit order depends on the situation. In this case, it reversed with a limit order since it was at a pre-determined target. Sometimes I&#039;ll be in a position &amp; suddenly decide to close it early based on something that I see, in which case I will use a market order. Typically (but not always), I enter trades using market orders &amp; then exit them using limit (or stop-loss) orders set a my price target (or stop).]]></description>
