The major indexes usually (not always, but usually) tend to move in sync. More so when there is an impulsive rally or drop in the market vs. the days where the indexes are chopping around aimlessness on low volume. When well-watched support or resistance levels are taken out, or a market-moving news headline hits, the buy or sell programs from the big trading desks & funds kick in.
While that is usually the case, I've seen more divergence (one going up with the others going down) between the $SPX, $NDX, & especially $RUT (small-caps) this week than I've seen in a while but again, that isn't the norm.

Best to see a solid (impulsive break/large red candle) & solid close above both of those support levels on IWM & /RTY. Additionally, /NQ has been successfully testing & holding above the 9371.50ish support all day so far with /ES testing & defending (so far) the 3000ish level. The best odds for a breakdown in the small caps will be if those levels go as well as those support levels on the large caps as the sell programs would likely kick in.

10:30 AM PST / 1:30 PM EST - Looks like we have an hourly close back above 137.33 minor support line, with slightly higher volume
