<a class='bp-suggestions-mention' href='https://rightsideofthechart.com/members/rsotc/' rel='nofollow'>@rsotc</a> About shorting TVIX being "very dangerous".

- Is it dangerous only because it can jump far and your stop loss can be bypassed by an overnight gap-up? --which is only dangerous if your trade hasn't yet lifted off (before you're at the trailing stop stage at a good distance from break-even). Or is dangerous for some other reason?

- Last time I tried to short TVIX my ____ broker said they had no shares to lend me. I thought, If shorting TVIX long term were possible, you'd be guaranteed to make money because of the inherent decay of the ETN.
So, now hearing your comment made me wonder: Is TVIX actually available for shorting in other brokers like TdAmeritrade/thinkorswim --which I think I've seen you use in the videos?

And if TVIX is available for shorting but only sporadically, can your broker preemptively close your position and force you to loose money on the trade because the shares they lent you are no longer available? Is that the biggest danger?

Thanks

Unbelievable rope-a-dope. QQQ pointing to positive bias with increasing volume last 3 days with price above 5day MA, triple witching Friday so many PUTS bright green, I would think they would rally it into the close to minimize the PUTS. This market is going down further.

I can't believe technical analysis showed this would likely be an upward close while shorts covered. I thought Randy was crazy for mentioning those high target levels, but thought.....ok, maybe I'll learn something because this looks like a blood red day coming to me. Talked me out of SQQQ and SPY puts. Seems like everyone is just throwing darts at a board in this market.

High Randy, thanks for all the good work! I'd like to share something: I'm more a swing trader who likes hold positions during weeks or days and be whether long or short qqq. I don't have time for anything else. I'd like to swing position max 10 to 20 times in a year. But recently with this volatility I tried to trade on lower time-frame but I lost money while my short position from late February is doing well.
My question is this: Would it be possible to have on the website what would be your position on a higher time-frame. It could prevent guys like me from losing...
You mention your swing account sometimes in your videos...
From a French guy on lock down, thanks.
