Yes, Randy, I understood your 8:20 mark discussion, and I appreciate your reply.
All good; can't seem to better put in words, what is still unclear about even drawing the longer divergent line, because to me, the shorter divergent line plays out, and from Nov 4 there is no divergence.
Anyway, all good and thankyou.

Thx schooner. Everyone uses different TA tools & I'd imagine that most that use divergences might see them differently. Divergences are not the be-all and end-all in trading, rather simply a useful tool that when used properly with other TA tools, specifically those that help to hone down the timing on entry & exits for a position (i.e.- buy & sell signals) can help recognize not only when to be on a lookout for a likely trend reversal or counter-trend bounce/rally but also the approximate scope of that rally/correction based on both the magnitude of the divergences as well as the time frame in which they appears. E.g.- divergence on 15-minute charts are typically good for a trade lasting a few days while a buy or sell signal on a daily chart preceded by multi-month divergences is often good for a rally or correction measured in the high single digits to well into the double digits (percentage-wise).

I had discussed that in the video at the 8:20 mark, mentioning that I had selected a different color (purple) for the divergences that I had drawn from Aug to Dec '16 in order to highlight that was the sole exception in which substantial negative divergences (on both the PPO & RSI) did not play out for a pullback commensurate with the magnitude of those divergences (a mere 2.8% pullback). I addressed the point that you mentioned in this static version of the $NDX chart (click on chart to expand). Thanks for the feedback & let me know if you have any more questions.

Excellent video, Randy, thankyou.
$NDX a perfect example chart.
One thing I don't understand.
Why is negative divergence drawn from Aug thru Dec 2016?
It seems the divergence drawn from Aug to Oct 24 is the one to note.
A correction follows [to Nov 4].
After that, [from Nov 4], price and indicators are pretty much in lockstep.
May be something obvious I'm overlooking, but this confused me.
