Looks like a stop run on PPC today.

Yep. I’ve highlighted PPC as one of my picks in the packaged foods/consumer staples sector in recent months & touched on it in today’s video (to be posted soon), including price targets, objective entry levels, & stops (plus longer-term downside targets, should it lose the recent support).

I can’t render a technical (charting) perspective & am not familiar with that particular ETF, but covered it in today’s video (to be posted shortly). My preference for idle cash in a trading or investing account is to have it swept into a brokerage MMF. You’ll probably pick up a little more yield on TFLO, but even as a stable-ish price fund holding adjustable-rate Treasuries, it could go down in value just when you need to pull the money out, thereby negating the higher yield, assuming the NAV or share price dropped from where you bought it.

I like these trades, I have been grabbing more tech and AI stocks on the pullback. I think shorting the markets/tech when other sectors like financial, industrials, and healthcare holding up well is not going to payoff as much as people think. I see more market rotation than weakness. People may get grinded out of shorting through leveraged ETFs. I’m out of the leveraged ETFs since I think we will be range bound for a while and rebuying individual names, but I’m still sticking to the scenario of a similar breakout that we saw from the range in 4Q25 to 1Q26 that chopped people up.

There could be a small breakdown just due to tech’s weighting but if I see other sectors hold up I’m just buying on the way down before they rotate back to tech.

PPC setting up for a starter long. Building bullish divergences, recently broke out of bullish wedge. Granted earnings report is next Wednesday, but the divergences are probably indicating insiders are buying.

Hi Randy,
What do you think TFLO? Can it be used to park cash while waiting to put the cash into a trade?
Thanks,
