I think you’re reading this wrong, “stops are not an option” means stops are not optional, iow always use stops. Randy always advocates strict exit criteria and stop loss orders.

Are you recommending not placing any stop loss orders on long TLT positions? That seems risky should equities rally. What would be the exit criteria?
