Not objective entry anymore but this is one of those stocks that Randy highlighted long ago and which I have been trading in & out for a long time. Once it bottoms it has quite nice 10-30% rips. Similar story with UUUU, UEC, NXE.

From the charts, it seems logical that the dollar should rise, gold should drop, and the SPY should drop, but right now it is a wait and see market.

Can only assume the market was pricing in negative rates, no interest rate hikes for at least five years plus targeting at least 2% inflation clearly very bearish for gold. Apparently there is a sizeable net short on the dollar and as we all know when the boat gets loaded to one side…

More like whippy, as in some pretty big whipsaws in gold, silver, & the $USD since I published the post above. First, a sharp rip up in the metals & sharp rip down/rejection off the downtrend line in /DX, followed by an even sharper reversal in the other direction in all 3.
/DX is now trading above the trendline but only by a relatively small margin, not enough to call it a breakout with conviction, plus it is also trading at the 93.19ish resistance level which comes in just above the trendline. Looking better for the case for a breakout in the Dollar & next leg down in the metals but a little more work to be done, IMO.
