Thank you. Agree about the typical setup. Lately, though, I have seen this play out very successfully on RTY, with price stopping very near the measured target, albeit on shorter timeframes. Could just be a coincidence.

The FED can’t keep doing this forever … once all the powers involved agree this is not a “V” shaped economic recovery then the market will correct. Basically the market is predicting we will be back to February levels economically by Election Day and that is not happening. Quite frankly, Trump looks more vulnerable to me after his rally then ever before. I’m surprised the markets didn’t react to that!

10,113ish is the next resistance on /NQ & any marginal new high above that level will extend the divergences that were in place at Friday’s high so I’d be skeptical of any breakout above that level.

If you are referring to the 60-minute (or similar) time frame, then I do see what takes the form of an IHS pattern with that 1756.50 resistance level on my chart as the neckline. However, IHS patterns are bottoming (reversal) patterns that are formed after a prolonged downtrend. In this case, gold has been consolidating & trading sideways for the past couple of months so really not where or how an IHS should form. As such, I wouldn’t put a very high weighting on that although the break above 1756.50, whether a valid IHS neckline or not, was & is bullish as long as that breakout holds.
