thank for the post. You showed that a lot of charts in metals have negative divergences on the new divergent highs but for some of the charts, the Macd line and the signal line first dropped below 0 to the other side and then came back. But since the lines are below the previous tops of the line, you marked them as divergent. Wouldn&#039;t dropping below the zero line should reset the divergence and the new high on the price wouldn&#039;t be a divergent high since Macd is coming after dipping below 0 and then coming backup again?

I looked at many charts from the past and in bull runs, the new highs are mostly always divergent until the price continues in strength and takes out the divergences soon after.]]></description>
