I wouldn’t focus on USAS so much, especially since you’re not comfortable with it. I covered it because I was cycling through the silver stocks in one of my watch-lists. There were plenty of other, more fundamentally sound silver miners covered. The gist of the video was to highlight the bearish setup in the $USD along with bullish setup in gold, silver, the Euro, and confirmation via bullish setups in most of the individual mining stocks.

Uranium sector (via URA) still in a solid uptrend although the sharp negative divergence as of today’s marginal new high indicate the upside is likely very limited before the next correction. No clear uptrend lines or anything remotely resembling a sell signal at this time so I’d be on watch for any type of bearish candlestick reversal patterns. Daily chart below.

It’s a mystery to me, but he does not highlight uranium sector which has been incredibly profitable trade. Not only $URA ETF but also small miners like $FIND (trading on TSX), nearly tripled since August. That’s my $URA weekly, basically buying pullbacks.

Yes, but that’s the most bearish company in the sector. It can gap down 30% overnight on bad news, because it’s fundamentally a burning garbage can. Why not try Discovery Silver instead? Much better fundamentals, Sprott owns a lot of it too. Price is around $1.Just my two cents.

USAS was the only penny stock highlighted in the video & the risks were made clear. However, risk & return go hand-in-hand so for those looking for aggressive trade ideas in the mining sector with above average risk & return potential, USAS may fit the bill. The stock has rallied 20% in the last 5 trading sessions & my first target is still another 18% higher. As always, one should pass if it doesn’t mesh with their risk tolerance.
