Hi Randy, I am following the comments to get e-mails & I can think of an improvement for someone like me to catch useful discussions in the comment sections of your site. Now, I get e-mails from your site with the same email subject line: “New Comment” and I think if it comes with a ticket or tickers covered in the email will help me go back to the right e-mail to review the content to help me plan on taking any positions on a particular ticker, in this case CIEN. This will be helpful for me and I hope you will consider this added feature in your “New Comment” email function. I really appreciate how you provide your analysis and I have come to use your logics to support my decisions on taking new positions & exits too. Thank you very much!

Did you mean IB (Interactive Brokers), if not, what broker is IG? IB recently implemented this new, completely random & capricious margin system they call SPAN, which I’ve told them (not that it will matter) that I am considering moving my accounts I’ve had with them for the past 20 yrs as it makes managing a futures trading account using margin nearly impossible due to their unpredictable & often overnight (3 am) huge maintenance margin requirement increases.

I’ve been trading futures & on margin for decades & am very aware (and have always anticipated) the margin requirement increases during periods of high volatility, but this SPAN margin IB is now using is something different & completely unpredictable.

CIEN was a recently stopped out short trade but still looks primed to trigger a sell signal on a solid break below this minor uptrend line (arrow breaks denote first two & current targets, although I expect a pullback to at least the 200-day MAs, once the sell signal is triggered), Daily chart below.
