Definitely a decent chance of that happening soon with gold in spitting distance of that key resistance. I wish GLD didn’t have the big potential negative divergences on the daily & weekly but that doesn’t mean the divergences must play out or can’t be burned thru. Simply that there is a decent chance that any breakout to new highs in gold could fair relatively shortly afterwards. I’ll speak to that in the next video update, probably later today.

I’ll post some targets soon but that was an objective long for a swing trade more so than just a quick bounce trade, although active traders could have certainly taken it as such (and booked profits on the pop today).

The near-term outlook for EUR/USD is a bit fuzzy right now but let me study the charts of EUR, USD, gold, & silver and I’ll post some additional analysis & targets later today.

Platinum & palladium (/PL, /PA, PPLT, & PALL) look like they make be setting up to run as well so more on those soon as well.

Don’t forget about /CL or USO (crude) either. In a video about a week or two ago, making the fundamental case to be bullish crude & nat gas (in additional to the technical case) that they are trying to blow each other up over there in the middle east & that energy prices weren’t pricing that in IMO.

Covered /NG in yesterday’s video.. BIG resistance at T8 & it also shows well on the UNG daily chart. Probably needs to consolidate a bit more before busting thru there. Maybe, maybe not but best to wait for that breakout IMO (besides going long on the pullbacks to support like the one I highlighted in yesterday’s video, good for another quick 1-day 15% profit (I just sold it just under T8 again but I’m using the March contracts now)
